I offer a great service, but don't just take my word for it! Here are the real words from some of my customers.
Lesley George, Home Owner
Katie has undertaken two design projects in my coastal, exposed garden in North Cornwall. The first project involved planning and designing a pond and water cascade working on two levels. We also had steps built and walls constructed from local rustic slate. Katie made site visits, drew up plans and consulted at every stage. I am delighted with the results; the garden brings pleasure every day. The second project has given me steps to an upper level, raised beds, a pergola, pathways and beds for herbs. It has transformed an untidy area which was undeveloped and difficult to approach. The views to the coast are stunning and I enjoyed working once again with Katie, who consulted fully during the building and construction stages working with myself and the landscapers on both projects. Thank you for your attention to detail and full, timely consultation with all concerned. I am a very happy client!

Katie designed my gardens some seven years ago, after I had spotted her expert drawings and contact details in a shop window. She was wonderful right from the start, from listening to my ideas, including all my thoughts into her lovely designs, providing excellent additional ideas and even recommending tree/shrub/flower experts and stone/brick contractors, all of whom provided best prices and expertise. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.

Katie Webb helped us with our garden design last year and provided in our estimation a top notch service. We have a large and difficult space, yet Katie managed to crystallise our own ideas while bringing many more of her own to bear. The plans she provided us with at the end of the consultation period were fastidiously executed and in great detail. In summary, Katie combines an overarching sense of creativity with professional knowledge which we found inspirational.

We moved into a new property with a major slope and quite narrow. We had only ever had traditional city back gardens before and were pretty stumped on where to go with the garden to get best use. After researching some local designers we had the absolute joy of finding Katie Webb and have never looked back. We wanted the moon in our garden - patio/dining area for just us and for friends and family, no slopes, limited lawn if any, water, trees, area for growing vegetables, drying area for washing, area for hammock, be good for the dog, plants and more plants. And we got every single aspect in a design that I can only describe as inspirational. What was absolutely key to us was that Katie managed to get 'us' and what we liked and would enjoy in the design she created. With limited budget we have started the process with a five year plan on getting to what could be classed as complete - but in reality it will be our life passion. Katie was there every step of the way with help on questions from the landscapers and support to us when decisions were required. Everyone who comes into our garden marvels at what has been achieved and it will only get better as planting matures. I would not hesitate to recommend Katie to anyone who wants a garden that reflects them and that is as inspirational as she is.

We were initially apprehensive about working with a garden designer having had bad experiences previously. However Katie was lovely to work with, we were impressed that she made a real effort to understand our sense of style and translate that in to a garden design which delights us.

In 2015 we decided to have our garden designed professionally as it was very exposed to all the elements, particularly wind. We therefore looked online for local (North Cornwall) companies and, purely by chance, we approached Katherine Edmonds Garden Design. I knew on our first meeting that Katie was the person for us - her suggestions, plant knowledge and down to earth attitude was exactly what we wanted. She listened to our ideas, came up with loads of her own and produced a detailed plan. My husband, who's a builder, liaised closely with Katie on the construction work and Katie began the planting scheme last autumn / winter. Her perseverance in cold, wet, windy conditions was admirable. I can't speak highly enough of Katie's work ethic, her knowledge and her love of what she does. I would recommend her every time.

We have a south facing garden in Devon, and wanted to break up the large area laid to lawn to make a more interesting garden and one that would encourage wildlife. Katie has created a design that will provide interesting planting areas, as well as some shade and shelter from the wind, and a suitable habitat for wildlife including creation of a pond. Katie was a pleasure to work with, always listened to what we wanted as well as being highly professional.

Katherine has turned what was an embarrassingly dirty and uncared for area into the most usable and attractive outdoor space in Bristol. Our new, superbly landscaped garden (complete with decking, timber furniture, creative lighting, outdoor paintings, paving, tiling, designer pots and plants) was effortlessly designed and project managed throughout. To produce such a statement, such a beautiful and uniquely created garden, at a very reasonable cost and within the timeframe is a real testament to Katherine's talents.

I really wanted to write to you to thank you for all the love and hard work you've put in to my garden, it truly does look spectacular and that's entirely down to you. I can't tell you how calming it is to come home to a beautiful garden after a manic day at work. You've really put your heart and soul in to making it look amazing. Thank you so much.
James Tory, Proprietor
When we decided to redesign a particularly difficult front garden at Boughton Golf Club we knew we needed to have a professional designer, and in my mind they don't come much more professional than Katherine Edmonds Garden Design. She wasted no time in doing a thorough survey of the site while taking plenty of time to understand our specific needs. Within a couple of weeks of her visit we had full scale drawings of the proposed design, complete with 3D renderings. Not only did she hit the mark first time, but after seeing the presentation we had absolute confidence that the finished product would look great, and we have not been disappointed. I can with absolute confidence recommend her firm's services for whatever work you may have in mind, knowing that they fit into that rare breed which are both very reasonably priced and of the highest quality.

I have worked with Katie since 2009 on a number of garden projects at our cottage in Cornwall. From design through to build she is extremely knowledgeable, creative and thorough. The first job was to help me restore the vegetable plot. Katie and her team designed and built raised beds, suggested a planting plan, built a composting system and advised wood chip for the paths which we laid. Sustainability is at the heart of her approach and she used a mix of reclaimed and new materials as required. In 2012, Katie surveyed the whole property to begin a major restoration of the garden around the house. The first phase was a detailed design for the space around a new holiday let. Features include walled borders, a BBQ area, a large patio for entertaining and a fire-pit. She also provided ideas for planting and where to find good contractors and raw materials. Katie encouraged us to make some major changes to the landscaping and we are thrilled with the results! In 2013 we bought a field and I'm looking forward to working with her again to plan this and develop our small holding.

Southville Community Development Association was very pleased to work, on a pro bono basis, with Katherine Edmonds on designs for public, community gardens in two areas of Bedminster, Bristol. Katherine's lively ideas and clear drawings allowed us to seek public support for the gardens and will be the basis for funding proposals to the lottery and other sources.
